Ok well I'm not in Granada yet. Estoy en Málaga, It's a city about 1.5 hours from Granada but it is where we all met and are staying tonight.
Today/yesterday was insane. So much traveling. My parents waved goodbye to me as I went through security around 5:30pm Monday. The plane to London had to be fixed before we could take off, so we sat for an hour and got to London about an hour late. But that's ok because my connecting flight wasn't until later. Along the way, I met and talked to a bunch of lone travelers that looked like college students. All of them turned out to be from my program (IES Granada). So that was cool. Friend making began.
In Málaga, I jumped in a taxi with two others and headed to the hotel. We talked to the cab driver in Spanish! AHHH. It was pretty great, he was very willing to help us. Then we got some food and then cellphones and got back to the hotel around 7 and hung out until now. I'm super tired. Must go to beddddd. Off to Granada tomorrow around 5pm.
Im so glad your first traveling experience was less frustrating and exhausting than mine! i wanted to punch every person i saw lol.
